So you’re a beach couple? Well you’re in the right place if you’re looking for a wedding overlooking a beautiful stretch of golden sandy bay, waves and surf.

Druridge Bay is a seven mile stretch of sandy beach on the Northumbrian Coast and our venue at Hemscott Hill Farm just happens to sit right on it. In fact the dunes and beach make up part of our farm and we have a wonderful area overlooking the bay where you can say your vows with the most stunning backdrop behind you.

It is an unspoilt blank canvas with bench seating for your guests. After you say your vows and make your commitment to each other you can choose to have your drinks reception right there by the sea or come back the farm for drinks and canapes on the verandah.

You’ll welcome your guests into the Wedding Barn for the meal before partying into the night.

For those couples who’d like guests to stay over you can choose an overnighter package where you can stay in the dunes in either our glamping pods, or guests can set up camp and wake to the sound of the gentle waves we get here. Our overnighter also includes Calico Barn, our bunk barn located at the heart of the farm.

And if the weather turns, we always have a back up plan for your ceremony and plenty of covered spaces for you to choose from.
